The Community Academy platform was established by the initiative of Article 54 Public Union and civil society activists. As an awareness and training platform, the Community Academy organizes free trainings and conducts online education campaigns on topics such as community building, community development and public participation.
The first training of the Community Academy took place in Baku in October. The training was on “Effective use of social media in communities” and “Organization of public advocacy campaigns”. In addition, these trainings were held in the cities of Sheki, Ganja and Lankaran.
Baku trainings of the Community Academy took place in January 2022. The trainings covered the topics of “Need assessment in communities”, “Team building and building an effective volunteer network”, “Communication and communication strategies”.
