The event, jointly organized by the “Article 54” Public Union and Meclis.info, saw
participation from a diverse spectrum of attendees including representatives from both
the Milli Majlis-affiliated political parties and those not affiliated, leaders of civil society
organizations, and politicians.
During the public discourse, significant attention was directed towards the
incongruence between the provisions of the new draft law and the stipulations set forth
by the Venice Commission, as well as practices observed in foreign nations. The
discussions revolved around the effects of the new draft law on the operations of both
current and emerging political parties, as well as other related matters.
