Article 54 has organized a public discussion labelled as “Strengthening community participation in water management”.
The main topic on the agenda of the event was the current water problems and public participation in water management.
Environmentalists, experts and authorized persons speaking at the event made reports covering water issues.
At the event, among other things, Article 54 and the community-based organizations that the organization cooperates with talked about the public advocacy campaigns conducted at the national and local level regarding water issues.
The opinions and suggestions expressed at the event are to be made into a final document and sent to the relevant central executive authorities and the parliament.
